If it bleeds, we can kill it.

Punty messaged me early (late) this afternoon to see if I was doing anything. My plan was to wake up fairly early so I would be in a good spot to get a decent sleep before the Main Event. Obviously I sleep like 11 hours and get up at 5pm. I informed Punty that doing something was not especially on my agenda. He suggested dinner followed by "Love" - the Cirque De Soleil show inspired by The Beatles.

I pondered his suggestion for some time.

Eventually yielding to his request, I put a non-tshirt on and proceeded to The Mirage where we were met by Puzz, LuckyShades, and Dan Neilson (for whom a nickname has not yet been put forth - the leading contender is "bubbleboy"). We ate at "Samba" - a Brazilian BBQ joint which was pretty good; there is something about all-you-can-eat places that just keep carving huge bits of meat for you at the table.

Dan lost yet another creditcard roulette, even when we ran it twice (obv nickname has to be "Lucky" or something), and, still having time before the show, we got a few drinks at the uber-chic bar outside the theatre. I obv win the scissors/paper/rock battles and drink for free, and we proceed to the show. We had fairly good seats, the show was 360-degree so there probably weren't any bad seats in the house really.

The show was excellent, and could be enjoyed even by people who weren't Beatles fans in my opinion. Slightly less acrobatics than "Ka", but I actually understood the story of this one.

We drank some more at a sports bar in The Mirage cleverly named "The Sports Bar", and I again prevailed in the S/P/R battles, before we eventually parted ways and I came home.

I was (kinda) greeted by some new people that Tony brought to the house; pretty sure this takes the count to like 450. They failed to inroduce themselves which was not a total surprise and I had just settled into bed when I heard the jacuzzi fire up. Obviously, given I am playing the main soon, this did not sit particularly well with me, luckily, after informing them that any noise of any kind would not be tolerated, peace and quiet has since ensued. Pretty uhappy that all of Tony's guests so far have pretty much treated the joint like their own personal hotel room, and Tony's apparent indifference to the way everyone in the house feels about the situation has really surprised me; I guess you don't really know a person until you have lived with them etc etc etc.

Really psyched about the Main Event tomorrow, I have literally dreamed of it the last few nights. Hopefully I can play my best and the results look after themselves.

Hope all is well back home.
